We spent 5-6 hours [er week, working in free classes, on Saturdays and stayed back for the preparation of useful paper.
It took us two days to convert the paper into revised paper.
With the machinery gifted to us by the Department of Environment, Delhi, we have successfully started our project.
As an initiative undertaken, our students visited Tara Campus to learn how to recycle paper and use the machinery.
Mahatma Gandhi said, "Real education consists in drawing the best out of yourself," and that is exactly what we aim at achieving. We do not rank children rather we help them identify their potential and train inquisitive individuals by implementing the Head, Heart and Hand philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. When children grow in this kind of an environment, it proves to be more of a nurturing centre. With this vision in mind, we started our Business Entrepreneur Challenge, 'Teach a Man to Fish' titled as 'Let's Use The Used'. We also have the support of the Government of Delhi to commence our project as the Department of Environment, Delhi gifted us the required machinery, and when put to use, we successfully converted used papers and newspaper into various useful products.
